How We Work
Our fees are dependent on the job specifications, nature and geographic scope of each search assignment. We're willing to work with clients in the manner that suits them best. The one thing consistent with these choices is, we get the job done! Here are three examples:
Retained Search

What you do: See only final candidates
What we do:
1. Assist in formulating a job description and determining a compensation range.
2. Do all the sourcing of candidates. These sources may include our extensive database of candidates, contacts with centers of influence who may know of a prospect, selected Advertising, Internet Resume Databases to which we subscribe, and other trade/professional organizations.
3. We review every candidate application, regardless of source.
4. We screen all candidates and conduct face-to-face interviews with finalists.
5. Coordinate all interviews with you and assist in interviews, if desired.
6. Create a benchmark outlining the core competencies to be successful in the job. We administer valid assessment tests via the Internet to the final candidates. Included is professional consultation from our staff on interpretation and prediction of performance in the job.
7. We check candidate references and provide a written summary.
8. Require thorough Background, Criminal and Motor Vehicle etc. checks on the finalist candidate. Turnaround is usually three business days or less.
9. Assist you in negotiating salary and benefits.
Payment Terms:
- 1/3 due to begin the search
- 1/3 due after 30 days
- 1/3 due upon the candidate's start date
Cancellation: Should the client cancel this search contract for any reason, we will invoice the client for all expenses and previous work since the last payment on an hourly basis ($250 per hour). Previously paid fees are nonrefundable.
Cost: Our goal is to assist you in recruiting and hiring the most qualified individual, not the most expensive candidate. Our search fee is a flat $ amount and is dependent on your job requirements and the geographical scope of each search assignment. It is NOT a % of the employee's Salary. Assessments are at the hiring authority's discretion.
Exclusive Contingency
Service
Level: Mid/High
Cost: Efficient
We will be the only Recruiting Firm working on this position. All inquires from other firms should be directed to us. We do the phone screening and interviews, but are not on a retainer. We check all references. We may or may not meet the candidates face to face.
Cost: A small, non-refundable deposit is required to begin. Our fee is a % of the candidate's annual income dependent on the difficulty of the search assignment.
Expenses: Expenses associated with the search are our responsibility.
*Optional Valid Assessment Tests: Administered via the Internet. We recommend only final candidates for this thorough personality and intelligence evaluation. Professional consultation from our staff of qualified consultants is provided.
*Required Background, Criminal, Motor Vehicle etc. checks.
Costs vary on the number of different checks and the number of states and/or
counties the candidate is checked against. Turnaround is usually three business
days or less.
Straight Contingency

Cost: Increased
We are not the only individuals recruiting for the position. We typically do not meet the candidates face-to-face. We do the screening, phone interviews, present candidates and check the finalist's references.
Cost: A % of the candidate's annual income, dependent on the difficulty of each search assignment.
Expenses: Expenses associated with the search are our responsibility.
